Nestlé Malta today inaugurated a new Consumer Service Centre in Lija, adjacent to its head office building. The premises, which are primarily intended to be the contact point between Nestlé and its consumers and customers, was inaugurated in a year in which Nestlé Group is commemorating the 150th anniversary of its existence.
The new Nestlé Consumer Centre was inaugurated by The Prime Minister, Joseph Muscat and Nestlé Market Head for Italy and Malta, Leo Wencel in the presence of the Archbishop of Malta, His Grace Mgr Charles J. Scicluna and Nestlé Malta Managing Director, Naum Janakiev. Speaking during the inauguration of the Centre, Mr Janakiev said that “The Nestlé Consumer Centre will help to showcase all Nestlé brands and concepts in one coherent space, thereby giving a more widespread reach-out and a unique user-experience to all visitors. The Centre would be a point of welcome for customers and consumers who are interested in getting firsthand information as well as getting an experience with our Brands.
Mr Janakiev added that the centre will also offer an even more efficient environment where our loyal customers participating in our NESCAFÉ Collect Scheme can redeem collected points, whilst also getting an opportunity to get various information about Nestlé’s background, history, corporate & social responsibility and nutrition, amongst other things. In line with Nestlé Good Food, Good Life, the Nestlé Consumer Centre will strengthen our efforts in promoting awareness of how nutrition at different stages of human life could contribute in enhancing the quality of our consumers’ lives.
A feature wall, portraying the first 1000 days of a child, has been set up, where one can learn more about the very first days of the development of the human being, indeed bringing to life the images printed on the wall via the scrolling of a monitor.
The Centre will also provide the possibility to view and experience both Out-Of-Home and Retail Brand concepts in an interactive manner.
