On their second day of the visit, Mr Freixe and his delegation from Switzerland held a business update meeting, during which, the Executive Vice-President and Director of Europe was given an update on Nestlé Malta’s performance.
In the afternoon, Mr Freixe met the staff and took the time to answer their questions during a question and answer session. The employees asked upon a number of matters, namely on work-life balance management, health and safety management within the Company and the importance of the Nestlé youth employment programme. They also touched upon the digital marketing, and the challenges and implications on the business nowadays due to the unfavourable European macro-economic consumer context.
On his part, Mr Feixe shared some inspirational views on these topics. Concluding, he praised the Nestlé Malta staff for their hard work and dedication to the company’s business.
