Becoming a tradition
1899
Grocer E.A. Stuart co-founded the Pacific Coast Condensed Milk Company in Kent, WA. At that time farm-fresh milk was hard to come by. So, Stuart's "new-fangled" evaporated milk was a way to get milk goodness to everyone.
60-70's
Carnation introduces Fat Free Evaporated Milk and Low Fat 2% Evaporated Milk.
80's
Carnation introduced its Sweetened Condensed Milk and was immediately incorporated into baking and confectionery recipes.
Today
Our Evaporated Milk and Sweetened Condensed Milk have become staple enjoyed by generations. We think E. A. Stuart would be proud.
