Internships

With a Nestlé Internship, you'll get valuable hands-on experience, mentoring and practical training in a work environment related to your field of study.

You'll see at first-hand how we deal with real-life business challenges across our value chain, gaining insights that will give you a head start in your career.

Internships last from one to six months depending on the project.

Apprenticeships

Nestlé apprenticeships blend practical, paid workplace experience with classroom-based education.

Geared towards technical or vocational topics, these two- to three-year programs prepare you for a successful career and develop your soft skills and professionalism.

We offer a wide range of apprenticeship schemes at different levels across Nestlé, each providing significant opportunities in our teams.

Supporting early career scientists

We support the next generation of scientists by helping them grow their careers with Nestlé R&D. Our academic collaborations allow PhD students to learn the skills and competencies they need to conduct independent research on different food-related disciplines: agricultural science, food science, nutrition and health science, food safety and quality, packaging science, and data science.

Students can qualify through a PhD project based on a research collaboration between Nestlé and an academic institution where they are hosted, with a short placement at Nestlé. Through a second, internal pathway, the student remains affiliated with an academic institution, but is hired as a company employee, and is co-supervised by an external academic professor and a Nestlé scientist. In select cases, Nestlé supports postdoctoral research projects through fellowships and academic collaborations.

That’s why we’ve created the Nestlé needs YOUth program. Designed to equip young people with the skills they need to thrive in tomorrow’s workplaces, it has three focus areas:

1) helping young people to find work and build their skills for employment;
2) supporting young entrepreneurs to kickstart and grow businesses; and
3) 'agripreneurship', supporting young people to make a decent living out of agriculture.
