We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Company Canteen Cook to join our team. As a Canteen Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our employees in our company canteen. The role requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality and nutritious meals are served to our staff and cater to specific dietary requirements and preferences.
Key responsibilities
- Plan weekly menus in respect of the Nestlé Good Food Good Life culture
- Prepare, cook, and serve lunch according to the planned menus
- Orders ingredients and products needed and ensure a balance between cost and quality
- Apply measures for strict hygiene in accordance to Food Handling rules
- Makes sure that the kitchen, canteen, and pantry are kept clean and well maintained at all times
- Other duties which may be assigned from time to time are performed in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
Education and experience
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a canteen or similar setting
- Use Own Transport
- Autonomy and ability to work with minimum supervision;
- Good communication skills;
- Service orientation.
