Precautionary and voluntary recall of specific batches of infant formula products

Nestlé Malta has initiated a precautionary and voluntary recall of specific batches of infant formula products. 

This decision was made in collaboration with the competent authorities due to a potential microbiological deviation detected in an ingredient used in the composition of the products.

Although there have been no confirmed reports of any illness associated with consumption of the products concerned, the company instructs consumers not to consume the product. 

The affected products and batches are:

Four milk formula cans SMA First Infant Milk, SMA Advanced First Infant Milk, SMA Advanced Follow-On Milk,and Nestlé NAN OPRO

Nestlé apologizes for any concern this situation may cause and confirms that it has taken the necessary precautionary measures, remaining fully available in case of need. The company reiterates that the safety, quality of products, and health of consumers, especially infants, have always been the highest priority.
